There are an abundance of podcasts that feature fighters or people involved with MMA. When you scroll though iTunes there are almost too many to choose from. We have created a list of the top 5 podcasts for MMA fans. Whether you listen while driving to work or in the gym there is something for everyone!

5. Chael Sonnen’s Podcast

Chael Sonnen has featured on a number of podcasts throughout this fighting career. More recently he now has is own podcast which features a number of past and present fighters. Chael’s humours high energy approach makes this a favourite amongst MMA fans!

4. MMA Beat

The MMA Beat is produced by MMAFighting.com. The format is simple but entertaining. A group of journalists come together to break down the biggest headlines in MMA.

3. The MMA Hour

The MMA hour is a great podcast that is streamed live every Monday. It does a great job of summarising the action from the previous weekend’s fights. It is hosted by MMA reporter Ariel Helwani. The show has featured just about every main fighter in the UFC and is always worth watching/listening to, for the latest UFC news.

2. The Joe Rogan Experience

Joe Rogan has been doing his podcast for a number of years and although it is not exclusively based around MMA, fighters appear regularly on his show. He has had some great guests in the past including Donald Cerrone, Brendan Schaub, Georges Saint-Pierre, James Thompson, Dan Hardy, TJ Dillashaw and Bas Rutten.

During the fights where Joe is not commentating, it’s quite typical for him to do bonus podcasts called Fight Companion. This generally involves Eddie Bravo, Bryan Callen, Brendan Sachaub and Joe getting drunk and talking about this fights as they happen. This is a great alternative to commentary while watching UFC live.

The Fighter and The Kid is a podcast hosted by comedian and actor Bryan Callen and Ex UFC Fighter Brendan Schaub. The dynamic between the hosts is what makes this show. The comedy element is something that sets this podcast apart from the rest. There are plenty of UFC fighters who makes appearances almost every week and the topics of debate are made interesting through the perspective of a fan and ex-fighter.
